GEORGE URE (Boq)
Training: Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where roles included 'Anthony' in Sweeney Todd; 'Jimmy' in Grand Hotel and the title role in Macbeth. Work with UK Theatre School and GAMTA includes Seussical the Musical (New Athenaeum) and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (SECC).
Theatre: George made his West End debut in the ensemble of WICKED (Apollo Victoria).
Concerts include: The Best of the West End (Leicester Square Theatre); Miranda Sings and Friends (Freedom); West End Christmas (Actors Church) and regular performances with The West End Gospel Choir.
In 2007 he was a Series Finalist in the search for the stars of Britannia High (ITV Productions), working alongside Arlene Phillips and Gary Barlow. George is delighted to be spending another year in WICKED. He would like to thank his amazing family and friends for their continued love and support, and wishes to dedicate his performance to his Dad.
