HARRIET THORPE (Madame Morrible)
Harriet is best known for her roles as ‘Carole’ in the BBC’s popular Brittas Empire, and as ‘Fleur’ in Absolutely Fabulous.
More recently she played opposite Jason Donovan as ‘Mrs Lovett’ in John Doyle’s Sweeney Todd and as ‘Fraulein Kost’ in Rufus Norris’ West End production of Cabaret.

Her West End credits include: ‘Madame Thenardier’ in Les Misérables; The Vagina Monologues and Jackie O.
At Regent’s Park parts include: ‘Titania’ in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; ‘Maria’ in Twelfth Night; the ‘Queen’ in Cymbeline; and at the Young Vic, Timothy Sheader’s Street Car to Tennessee. At the Almeida she played ‘Ida Arnold’ in Michael Attenborough’s Brighton Rock.
Films include: Merchant Ivory’s Maurice; Greystroke; Mike Leigh’s Life is Sweet; Zefferelli’s Toscanini; Suzie Gold and the Head of the W.I. in Calendar Girls.
She has recently completed filming The Calling and a new horror film, S.N.U.B.
