Founded in 1997 by partners Matthew Rego, Michael Rego and Hank Unger, The Araca Group is a theatrical production and merchandise company. Araca’s current and upcoming production credits include: eight productions of WICKED including Broadway and around the world; Hairspray (West End); and Boeing-Boeing (Broadway). Past Broadway and off-Broadway productions include: Urinetown; The Wedding Singer; ’night, Mother; The Good Body; Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune; Match; The Scene; Debbie Does Dallas; The Vagina Monologues; The Laramie Project; and Skyscraper. In addition, The Araca Group develops and manages merchandise operations for WICKED (worldwide); Jersey Boys (London and Las Vegas); The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee; The Wedding Singer; Hairspray (West End); Passing Strange; Lincoln Center and Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce (Las Vegas).
