Acknowledged as “the West End’s most successful new musical" (The Independent on Sunday, May 2008), WICKED premiered at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre in September 2006 and has been thrilling audiences ever since.
WICKED is performed 8 times a week: Monday-Saturday evening performances begin at 7.30pm with matinees on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2.30pm. Performances last 2 hours & 45 minutes including a 20 minute interval.
First opened in 1930, the Apollo Victoria is one of the finest examples of art deco design in the country and was stunningly restored prior to the arrival of WICKED from Broadway. Originally built as a cinema, this majestic 2300 seat venue offers patrons a first-class theatregoing experience and was recently named the West End’s ‘Most Comfortable Theatre’ (The Stage) and ‘Favourite London Venue’ (lastminute.com).
WICKED provides a full ACCESS FOR ALL programme, offering special facilities for patrons with disabilities and a series of ongoing access performances.
